The Ministry of Finance’s concerns about a potential economic slowdown appear to have been playing out for some Bridgetown merchants.
Managing Director at Woolworth Martin Bryan, says things have been noticeably slow so far, compared with last year’s Christmas.
Over at Abeds, Managing Director Eddy Abed says they too have not been seeing the kind of sales they had envisioned by this time of the Christmas season.
