There is an urgent need for solidarity and justice to conquer the global crisis brought on by the dire economic challenges the world is presently facing with respect to food, fuel and financing.
That’s according to Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley as she spoke during the 2022 Afreximbank Babacar Ndiaye 6th annual lecture.
She has been named among a special team sanctioned by the United Nations Secretary General to undertake this crisis response.
Prime Minister Mottley emphasized the need for serious priority to be given to the crisis surrounding food distribution, the escalating cost of fuel and access to global financing, particularly for small developing states.
