General Manager of the Barbados Water Authority Keithroy Halliday says the relationship between the BWA and the Barbados Light and Power (BL&P) remains sound.
The comment comes against the backdrop of what the BL&P had described as a ‘misleading’ report from the BWA that an island-wide power outage early Tuesday, February 22nd affected operations at their Ionics Desalination Plant.
The Power Company in a statement on Tuesday said there was not an island-wide power outage and it was concerned by the BWA’s report.
The BWA explained in a subsequent post that their facilities were affected by “an electrical glitch”.
