SSA promises residents relief

Residents across several parishes where garbage has been piling up, at times for weeks, have been promised relief by the Sanitation Service Authority.

The situation is one Public Relations Officer with the SSA, Carl Padmore says they are aware of.

He tells CBC News some communities in St. Joseph, St. George, St. James, St. John, St. Philip and Christ Church are among those impacted by the lack of collection.

Mr. Padmore says the SSA expects to make inroads in these areas this week.
