St. Joseph Primary School play park refurbished

March 26th, 2022

The smiles of students of St. Joseph Primary School expressed their thanks after the rural school’s play park was refurbished.

The little ones were quick to test out their newly repaired swings and seesaws.

A bench was also installed.

The refurbishment was undertaken as part of a community project of the Prince’s Trust and Charitable Organization.

To raise funds, team members ages 16 to 22 years sold natural juices and organized car washes.

Team Manager for the Prince’s Trust International Team Programme, Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler says the personal development programme’s aim is to assist youth who are unemployed and deemed at risk.

Principal of St. Joseph Primary School, Karen Sealy-Cox welcomed the assistance in refurbishing the play part and extended thanks to Prince’s Trust International.
