Some secondary school teachers stand to benefit from a five day sensitization training programme being facilitated by Supreme Counselling for Personal Development.
The training initiative is geared towards equipping educators with the necessary tools for their engagement with students, especially in teaching critical life skills.
That’s according to Chief Executive Officer of Supreme Counselling, Shawn Clarke.
In his address to the cohort of teachers, Mr. Clarke said training will allow participants to effectively conduct self-development sessions with students.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Education Officer Joy Adamson says all teachers should be able to nurture well-rounded students, instead of focusing only on academic learning.
