Health Minister, Senator the Most Honourable Dr. Jerome Walcott has set a timeline for the completion of upgrades at the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Speaking exclusively to CBC News, Dr. Walcott revealed he’s pushing to have the work restarted in April and wants it fully operational in about six months time.
The Health Minister believes with more space and staff the QEH will be able to shorten wait times at A&E, as it streamlines the delivery of service through the triage system.
