Q in the Community is being held in the Golden Square Freedom Park Car Park in the City, from 11:00 a.m today until 2:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023.
To facilitate the event, some temporary traffic changes will be in effect.
In a release, the Barbados Police Service says there will be a partial closure of Jessamine Alley, Bridgetown from the junction of Fairchild Street and Jessamine Alley to the junction of Jessamine Alley and Jordan’s Lane.
Members of the public are asked to note that signage will be in place, and to comply with the directions of police officers.
In addition, there is to be no indiscriminate parking on the pavements, as well as along Fairchild and Probyn Streets and River Road. Vehicles not complying will be ticketed.
Parking is available at the BTI Car Park and the compound of the Bethel Methodist Church.
The Barbados Police Service has apologised for the anticipated traffic flow disruptions and thanks the public for its cooperation.
