UPDATE: Death not suspicious

The Barbados Police Service reports that a death at Airy Hill, St. Joseph previously suspected to be suspicious, is no longer believed to be an unnatural death.

Word of this from the Communications and Public Affairs Officer with the Service, Inspector Rodney Inniss.

He notes that while the man had injuries on his body which initially caused them to investigate, those wounds have been found to be consistent with reports that the renowned drinker stumbled and injured himself. The man did not seek medical attention for those injuries believed to be his cause of death.
