We are hearing tonight of a vicious unprovoked attack on some of Barbados’ most vulnerable citizens.
Several homeless people were beaten in Bridgetown last night, in the area of the Treasury Building and on Princess Alice Highway near the Fish Market.
Trevor Thorpe reports and we must warn you some of the video may be disturbing.
The attack has also been condemned by the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness. The organisation says such violence against the homeless and vulnerable should not be tolerated and it is working with the police to bring the perpetrators to justice.
