Virtual career showcase announced

The pandemic will not deprive students of the opportunity to be guided on future careers.

The Barbados Association of Guidance Counsellors has announced their second virtual career showcase to be held on March 30th and 31st.

The showcase targets thirteen to eighteen year old students at public and private secondary schools as well as special needs schools on the island.

President of the Association, Dr. Patricia Welch, says the goal is to support the development of young people so they can become productive citizens in the future.

The career showcase is part of a series of activities facilitated by the Association and Dr. Welch is appealing for more organizations to partner with them to assist with their summer work programme.
