Vulnerability of SIDS highlighted

The plight of Barbados as a small island developing state was amplified as climate activist and UNICEF Youth Advocate, Ashley Lashley called attention to the challenges posed, especially in health, during an international forum in Mexico.

The first edition of Biósphera was held to promote the health of the planet.

Ms. Lashley told the forum SIDS remain vulnerable and are bearing the brunt of the various crises brought on by climate change.
