A warning to parents about using the internet to highlight instances of child abuse.
Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs, Kirk Humphrey issued the caution while expressing concern about the recent circulation of photos of an underaged child on the internet.
According to Mr. Humphrey, while the internet can be useful, it can also be a dangerous thing.
Speaking during a press conference to signal the start of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month Mr. Humphrey reported there has been a decline in cases referred to the Child Care Board.
