Scores of residents in St. James and St. Michael should once again have water flowing through their taps.
This, is as the Barbados Water Authority completed repairs to a large diameter main in Hinds Hill, St. Michael early this morning.
The leak sent gallons of water pouring onto the streets yesterday.
The communities of Oxnards, Wanstead, Holders Hill and Thorpes were among those expected to be impacted by low water pressure or outages, as crews worked through the night to replace the broken pipe.
The BWA says water has been restored to the main and temporary road reinstatement is in progress.
