Another one of Barbados’ outstanding cultural ambassadors has published a book.
Aptly titled “All Over De Place”, Wayne ‘Poonka’ Willock launched his autobiography yesterday before a number of close friends including cultural icon the Most Honourable Anthony “The Mighty Gabby” Carter at the Accra Beach Hotel.
Business Development Officer at the National Cultural Foundation Disa Forde-Cooke in her presentation said it is important to tell the stories of the present so those in the future can understand why those in the past did what they did.
Meanwhile, the island’s latest published author believes it is important to stop stereotyping people.
Poonka also explains what “All Over De Place” is about.
