With a worst-case scenario of 800 new daily cases being predicted, Barbadians should not expect a levelling out of the current COVID-19 numbers for another month.

Dr Natasha Sobers-Grannum, an epidemiologist with the University of the West Indies, lamented that people have not been following the public health measures during a press conference this morning.

When quizzed about a return to daily number of cases being in the 60’s and 70’s for the Christmas holidays, she said this was unlikely.
