For the past few days Barbadians have been enduring the worst Sahara dust event in six years.
That how the conditions, which have caused dark and hazy skies, have been described by Applied Meteorologist at the US Naval Research Laboratory Dr. Jeffrey Reid.
However, from all those suffering from the situation, particularly with sinusitis and other respiratory challenges, Dr. Reid says relief is coming soon.
He was speaking at a press conference for the renovation of the Barbados Atmospheric Chemistry Observatory.
