As Barbados continues to confront violent gun crime, the judiciary is in the fight with strong sentencing as was meted out to 24-year-old Hakeem Stuart on Friday.
He is the man who reeled off gun shots in the busy food court of Sheraton Mall, Christ Church in March 2019, shooting Damian Trotman dead.
Last November, a jury found him guilty of the cold-blooded murder.
