It will not be a merry Christmas for a family that has been thrown into mourning, after the sudden death of a young woman from Airy Hill, St. Joseph on Saturday evening.
Communications and Public Affairs Officer with the Barbados Police Service, Inspector Rodney Inniss, told CBC News that “no foul play is suspected” in the death of the 22-year-old.
He added that “she was last seen alive around 5:50 p.m. and was found deceased around 6:10 p.m.”
The incident occurred while she was at work at Snack Shack, located at St. Michael’s Row, Bridgetown.
Police have not released the identity of the young woman.
