There’s an understanding among Barbadian students about what it takes to save the planet and what role they can play.
Founder of the Ashley Lashley Foundation, Ashley Lashley is working to build on that foundation to get more young Barbadians to join the fight against climate change.
A platform was opened for youth to share their views through the Barbados Youth Climate Action Summit and Expo held recently in conjunction with the Regional Conference of Youth, at the Barbados Hilton.
Ms. Lashley says the passion of the youth and their dedication were evident through breakout sessions at the forum.
She remains upbeat as she presses countries to move beyond talk and work on more action against climate change.
