Regional grouping CARICOM wants a high level political forum convened on reparatory justice.
Secretary General Dr. Carla Barnett says a comprehensive agenda to include climate justice can be appropriately ventilated at that meeting.
She says the 15 member bloc is willing to partner with all nations, inter-govenrmental bodies and civil society groups in this regard.
Dr. Barnett’s comments came in a virtual address to the 3rd Session of the Permanent Forum on People of African Descent being held in Switzerland.
