As the new ferry service expected to link Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago takes shape, Guyana’s President Dr. Irfaan Ali remains upbeat the service will facilitate the easier movement of people and goods, particularly food.
It was announced the ferry by Cari Cargo Incorporated will operate out of Parika in Region Three.
President Ali, who is the chairman of CARICOM says his administration is focused on ramping up food production across the region.
