The Barbados Meteorological Services continues to closely monitor the progress of a tropical wave and an associated area of low pressure located along 47W or about 1380km (857 miles) east-northeast of Barbados at 5 am today.
Current forecast tracks indicate that this system should pass north of Barbados Saturday afternoon.
There are no watches or warnings in effect for Barbados. This system is not a depression or tropical storm at this time.
