A 31 member team has been selected by the Athletics Association of Barbados to represent the island at the 51st edition of the CARIFTA Games slated for March 30 to April 1 at the Kirani James Stadium in Grenada.
The Under-17 Girls are Chanecia Bryan, Danya Skeete, Lashay Wilkinson, Aniya Nurse, Tia Applewhaite and Kiami-Rae Offord.
Jayden Walcott, Jules O’Garro, Jahkye Brewster, Aidan Moore, and Luke McIntyre made up the Under-17 Boys.
There are 11 Under-20 Boys – Teon Haynes, Brandon Hinds, Daniel Duncan, Aragorn Straker, Tylan Mayers, Yazid Daniels, Kaden Dowrich-Roach, Aaron Morris, Jaquan Pilgrim, Keiron Haynes and Nikolai Clarke.
The nine Under-20 girls are Ashlyn Simmons, Isis Gaskin, Kishawna Niles, Zakaiya Hunte, Layla Haynes, Kadia Rock, Kelia Bentham, Ariel Archer and Shania Thomas.
The management team consists of Head Coach Ramon Armstrong, Manager Angela Jackson, coaches Althea Belgrave, Desiree Crichlow, Jesse King and the medics are Dr. Phyllis Burnett and Jason Branch.
