AAB holds elections

Former Barbados Ambassador to the United States, his Excellency Noel Lynch, is once again President of the Athletics Association of Barbados.

The former Tourism Minister and newly appointed Chairman of the local organising committee for the ICC T20 World Cup Cricket final, was unopposed for the top position when the AAB held its elections last night, at the Lester Vaughan School.

Andre Procope is the new 1st Vice President, while Dr. June Caddle was returned as 2nd Vice President.

Renee Layne will assume the post of Secretary, with Ayesha Maycock the Assistant Secretary and Trevor Welch the Treasurer.

Wendell Mason will serve as Assistant Treasurer while Dorian Best and former President Catherine Jordan are the two Floor Members.
