BWU/Superb Blend Gladiola are the champions of the BCA Super Cup 50 Over Competition.
They defeated Wildey by a massive 126 runs under the DLS method on Saturday at KMV Oval in St. Andrew.
Sent into bat, Randy Thomas with 62 and Shamario Depeiza with an even 50, laid the platform for Gladiola in a challenging total of 294 all out in 50 overs. Wildey then folded for 122 in 17.5 Overs.
Miguel Cummings was the main destroyer with 3-12, Matthew Jones took 2-21 and Ashley Nurse 2-35.
For Wildey, Carlos Maynard made 44 and Jerome Jones added 21, in that losing effort.
Player of the Match Matthew Jones chipped in with 49, while Jerome Jones took 3-46 and Carlos Brathwaite 3-78.
In reply, Wildey chasing 295 for the win got off to a poor start and was struggling at 29 for four when rain halted play.
On the resumption, set a revised target of 249 from 24 overs, Wildey folded for 122 in 17.5 Overs.
