The Windward Island/ Guyana match was a special one for Barbadian female umpire Ayana Holder.
Holder made her debut umpiring on the field at the regional level in a game at Warner Park.
Holder, a former student of the Lester Vaughn School, would have started her umpiring career in 2019 as a member of the Barbados Cricket Umpires Association, gaining her regional certification from Cricket West Indies in 2022.
The mother of a 4-month-old baby boy, also currently serves as a Data Collection Manager with Cricviz, having previously worked as a Tri-Caster Operator and Scorer for the BCA.
