Bajan Women win by 18 runs

Barbados Women bounced back from their opening loss, to defeat the Windward Islands Women by 19 runs in the CWI Women’s T20 Blaze in St. Kitts.

Deciding to take their first knock at Warner Park, the Bajan Women scored 123 for five off their 20 overs, led with an unbeaten 68 from opener Tristan Holder.

Aaliyah Alleyne added 28 with Zaida James taking two for 28.

In reply, the Windward women fell short on 104 for eight off their 20-overs, with Afy Fletcher leading that charge with 28.

Erin Deane took 2 for 12, and Alleyne 2 for 17.
