The Barbados blind team has returned home with a silver medal, after competing in the goalball tournament in Trinidad and Tobago over the weekend.
Barbados lost their opening game eight goals to one against the USA, but redeemed themselves with two back-to-back victories over the hosts 18 goals to 13 and then 21 goals to 13.
However, in the battle for the gold medal in the final, Barbados lost once again to the Americans, ten goals to nil.
