Barbadian sprinter Mario Burke clocked 6.58 seconds to advance to the semifinals of the men’s 60-metre event at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow.
The Barbadian finished second in heat six behind American Christian Coleman who was the fastest qualifier with a time of 6.49 seconds.
Japan’s Akihiro Higashida was third (6.62).
The semifinals are set for 3:45 p.m. Barbados time.
