A fast-paced T-6 cricket format at the Olympics could bring even more global appeal to the sport.
That’s according to Hamilton Lashley, Director of the Hamilton Lashley Human Development Foundation.
Cricket has sealed a return to the Olympic games for the first time in more than a century, and has been joined by baseball and softball, flag football, lacrosse and squash for Los Angeles 2028.
The former Member of Parliament and community activist has held several T-6 competitions, both locally and regionally, and is urging Government to support the format.
On a different note, Mr. Lashley says there is a wide vacuum to be filled in terms of women’s cricket.
