British sports car manufacturer Caterham Cars rounded off its 50th-anniversary celebrations with a unique race meeting over the weekend at the Bushy Park Race Track in St. Philip.
Nearly 30 of the lightweight British sports cars competed over two days – Saturday and Sunday – in 20-minute sprint races and two hour-long enduro races.
With one run under floodlights in the Caterham Caribbean Cup.
When CBC Sports visited the track on the final day of action, the last of sprint races were being completed for the 310-R Group.
While the lead changed a number of times, taking the chequered flag was Taylor O’Flanaghan, ahead of Matt Sheppard and John Bennett.
The competition featured 270r, 310r and 420r spec vehicles.
Prior to the climax here in Barbados, the schedule included events at Zandvoort in Holland and Portimao in Portugal.
The Caterham Seven Championship UK was completed at Silverstone in late September.
