BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – England defeated United States by 10 wickets in their final Super Eight game of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup, at Kensington Oval on Sunday.
Barbadian-born Chris Jordan was a hero for the England side, as his hat-trick helped the defending champions reach the semi-finals.
England is the first to advance to the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup semifinals after demoliting the USA. The United States were dismissed for 115 runs in 18.5 Overs.
Chris Jordan finished with 4 for 10. Skipper Josh Buttler then scored 83 not out as the defending champions reached 117 without loss in 9.4 overs, to move to four points at the top of Group 2.
