The ICC 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy made its way across Barbados today, as the Global Trophy Tour continued.
Displayed in front of Kensington Oval – as the Mecca prepares to host the final of the event in June – the trophy was in the company of a few former West Indies legends and some national cricket teams, including the regional Under-15 champions, before the start of the trip.
The trophy left Kensington Oval and made its way through several areas, including Broad Street; Bridgefield, St. Thomas; Bathsheba, St. Joseph; and Rihanna Drive in St. Michael, and it will conclude in Oistins, Christ Church tonight.
Global Media Operations Manager Philip Spooner says Barbados is on show for the world to see.
