Jack Kirby accounted for both records that were broken on day five of the 2023 BASA Short Course Swimming Championships at the Aquatic Centre.
Competing in the men’s 18-24 age category, Kirby first set a new mark in the 100-meter backstroke of 53.10 Seconds, then later in the 50-meter butterfly he was clocked at 24.65.
