The Barbados senior women’s football team will be looking to register consecutive victories, on the road to the inaugural CONCACAF Gold Cup, when they clash against hosts Dominican Republic in Group ‘C’ of League ‘B’ tonight, at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez Stadium, in Santo Domingo.
The Lady Tridents are full of confidence after a perfect start in their campaign last Friday, with a 5-nil thrashing of St. Vincent & the Grenadines at the Wildey Turf.
Barbados currently sit at the top of the table on three points and a plus five goal difference, following that convincing performance.
They will now turn their attention towards Caribbean neighbours Dominican Republic in a match that is set to kick-off at 7:00 p.m. Barbados time.
