Top Barbados rally driver Zane Maloney remains in the lead of the 2024 Formula 2 championship race, despite finishing 4th in Saudi Arabia today.
Richard Verschoor of Holland put in a dominant performance to take victory in the Jeddah Sprint Race for Trident, crossing the line to score his fourth Formula 2 win.
Maloney had a great start from 15th to impressively move up to 4th, and he remains at the top of the championship on 40 points, with Paul Aron now in second place on 26.
The second feature race of the season will get underway in Jeddah tomorrow.
