President of Barbados Olympic Association Sandra Osbourne has been elected as the Vice President of the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF).
Osbourne received 66 votes, which was 14 more votes than her nearest rival Dr. Donald Rukare of Uganda.
Speaking to CBC Sports from Singapore where the General Assembly of the Commonwealth Games Federation is being held, Osborne said she is looking forward to continuing to serve at the highest level in her new role.
There’s also a new president of the federation, which is Chris Jenkins of Wales.
