Captain Justin Parris slammed a half century to inspire Pickwick Juniors to a 55 run victory over Empire Juniors in the final of the Barbados Cricket Supplies Under-13 competition.
Playing at Queen’s Park on Monday, Pickwick Juniors racked up 177 all-out in 30.3 overs, led by Parris with 51 of 32 balls, inclusive of seven 4’s and 1 six.
Jahrone Forde added 21, while Charles Wood, Kieron Gittens and Niako Patterson took two wickets apiece.
In reply, Empire Juniors were bowled out for 122 in 25 overs.
Player of the Match Tyler Narine, who’s just seven years old, took two wickets for four runs and Tyshawn Franklyn 2 for 28.
Wicketkeeper Kelani Clarke top-scored with 45 as only two players reached double figures.
