Canada vs. Barbados in road tennis could become a reality in the not too distant future.
At least that’s the hope of Megan Glanfield, of the York District School Board of Canada.
She was in Barbados for a week-long visit to learn more about the sport, during the just concluded Primary Schools Road Tennis tournament.
Plans are at an advanced stage to launch road tennis in over 200 schools in Canada.
Glanfield says the sport will have global appeal because of its entry level cost.
