Guyana Harpy Eagles pulled-off a tense three run victory over hosts Trinidad and Tobago Red Force at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy Wednesday night in group “A”.
The Red Force, chasing 270 for victory, needed 11 runs off the final over, but were stopped short on 266 for six off their fifty overs.
Darren Bravo led with 71, Kjorn Ottley added 49, while both Sunil Narine and Yannic Cariah scored 30 runs apiece.
Romario Shepherd took two for 44, following-up his top score of 74 in the Eagles 269 for nine.
