Tonight’s the night!
Barbados will have two shots at glory when the World Athletics Championships go into day #8 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
Sada Williams and Jonathan Jones will compete in the Women’s and Men’s 400 metre finals respectively, tonight.
Williams says she isn’t putting herself under too much pressure ahead of the big race.
Meanwhile, Jones says he’s mentally in the right place to be competitive.
The Women’s 400 final is set for 10:15 p.m., followed by the Men’s at 10:35 p.m., both live on CBC TV8.
TV8 will be live from 8:05 p.m., with other events on tonight’s schedule being heats in the 4 x 100 metres relays, along with the 800 metre final and 400 hurdles final for women.
