Under-16 netballers maintain unbeaten record

Barbados maintained their unbeaten record at the Jean Pierre Under-16 Netball Tournament in St. Lucia, claiming their third win over Grenada 33-24.

The Young Gems led at all quarters 8-4, 15-12, 24-17 before closing out the win.

Goal shooter Kianna Harte netted 24 from 30 attempts, while the goal attack bib was shared between Tyesha Trotman who netted three from three and Tyra Griffith – six from seven attempts.

The Young Bajan Gems are top of the tables with 15 points, ahead of Dominica on 12 and Grenada with 11.
