West Indies trail South Africa Invitation XI by 34 runs, after day two of their three-day tour match in Benoni, South Africa.

The Windies Men were set to resume on 283 for nine, but did not bat any further and instead sent the host to the crease.

Wiaan Lubbe led that innings with 72 and was assisted with 50 from Dewald Brevis as the they replied with 317 all out.

Both Akeem Jordan and Roston Chase claimed three wickets, two went to Shannon Gabriel and there was one apiece for Jermaine Blackwood and Raymon Reifer.

The match is the only warm-up game for the West Indies before they face South Africa in a two-test series starting February 28 at SuperSport Park in Centurion.

The second test will be played at the Wanderers from March 8 to 12.
