Wildey stays unbeaten in BCA T20 Cup

Wildey upstaged ESA Field Pickwick in a Super Over to finish the group stage of the 2024 BCA T20 Cup unbeaten and on top of Group C’.

Led by 54 not out from Jofra Archer, Wildey put 153 for four on the board at the SJPIT ground.

In reply, Yvan Grant with 84 led Pickwick to 153 for seven, forcing the Super Over, where they were held to four for one.

Carlos Brathwaite then eased Wildey to the win, as they made five runs from three balls.

Meanwhile, at Lowlands, Maple Steamrolled Lords by 143 runs.

Scores: Maple 173 for six, Lords 30 all out in 11.1overs.

Sachin Clarke took five for three and Renacko Belgrave three for two.

At Rices, defending champions Gladiola were ten wicket winners over BCA Youth ‘Aa’.

Scores: Youth 91 all out as Matthew Jones took four for 15; Gladiola 94 without loss.

Shamario Depeiza scored 55 not out.

At K.M.V Oval, Police beat Isolation Cavaliers by 26 runs.

Scores there: Police 135 for eight; Cavaliers 109 for nine.

Over at Friendship: Yorkshire were five run winners over Empire.

Scores: Yorkshire 157 for eight; Empire 152 for seven.

At Queen’s Park: Wanderers were seven run winners over Spartan.

Wanderers 149; Spartan 142 for eight.

At Beckles Road: Windward defeated YMPC by six wickets.

YMPC 144; Windward 145 for four.

At Desmond Haynes Oval: Carlton beat St. Catherine by six wickets.

St. Catherine 137 for eight; Carlton 138 for four.

At Paragon: UWI defeated BDF by six wickets.

BDF 132 for six; UWI 136 for four.
