A two-year qualification period has paid off for Barbadian Tri-Athlete Matthew Wright, as he has met the qualification requirement for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Wright finished 41st overall in the final qualification race in Cagliari, Italy yesterday, which earned enough points to make the standard.
He told CBC Sports that it has been a hard and long journey.
Wright will now be based in Cardiff in the UK for the next eight weeks ahead of the Olympics.
