Zeemoney to sponsor local road tennis competition

Zeemoney, a local subsidiary of Ghanaian company Zeepay, has thrown its support behind the sport of road tennis and will be sponsoring the Independence Youth Development competition.

Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, Charles Griffith, says some of Government’s current plans include training of local coaches, so they can teach the sport outside of Barbados.

Once this is done effectively, an exchange will be feasible.

Zeemoney presented a cheque worth forty thousand Barbados dollars ahead of the competition which serves off on Sunday in various communities across the island.

The playoffs and finals are slated for the Wildey Gym on November 30th.
