COVID-19 has claimed the lives of five more people, bringing the death toll to 223.
On Wednesday, November 24th, two women, aged 72 and 84, died at the Accident & Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, respectively.
On the following day, Thursday, November 25th, a 43 year old woman lost her battle with the viral illness at the Accident and Emergency Department.
Today, Friday, November 26th, a 77 year old woman passed away at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, while a 92 year old man also died at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility.
Acting Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Dr. Jerome Walcott, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
