Vaccination of children in Barbados aged 12 to 18, using the Pfizer vaccine, started this morning.
Chief Education Officer, Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw says the vaccine, which is currently approved for use within that demographic, will be rolled out on a phased basis.
She says the target groups will be special needs students, sixth form students, and those in the aforementioned age category who attend tertiary institutions.
