Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has shot down rumours the Bridgetown Port has been sold and the Grantley Adams International Airport leased to a Chinese entity.
A question was posed for the Prime Minister to address the matter during a global town hall meeting for the Diaspora.
Ms. Mottley’s reply was no.
Meanwhile as Barbados moves towards being a Republic, the Barbadian leader says Barbados remains a member of the Commonwealth.
She says the country intends to build on the Economic Partnership Agreement signed with the UK.
